Publisher and host

Forever Mastery (forevermastery.com) is an independent, free fan site. Contact: contact@forevermastery.com. Hosting: Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, United States.

Terms of use

Forever Mastery is free and needs no sign-up. Guides, tools and prices are given for information: the game changes with its patches, what comes from the beta is flagged as such, and auction house prices come from players' scans, with no guarantee of accuracy or availability.

The site sells nothing: no gold, no items, no in-game services, and it links to no such offer. It shows no advertising and no affiliate links today; if that changes, this page and the links concerned will say so.

Our tools are free and follow Blizzard's rules. You use them at your own risk. Links to other sites are there to help you: we do not control their content.

You may quote our texts with a link to the original page. For any other reuse, write to us.

Editorial policy

Every fact comes from a source we cite: Blizzard's announcements, the game files, checks made in game or the gaming press. What comes from the beta is dated and flagged, a Classic rule is presented as a Classic rule, and an observation is never presented as an official announcement. Nothing is made up: when a fact is missing, the page says so.

The illustrations are made for the site with an image generation tool; they do not copy Blizzard's artwork. Found a mistake? Write to contact@forevermastery.com and we will fix it.

Personal data

Controller: Forever Mastery, contact@forevermastery.com.

When you visit the site: no account, no form, no advertising, no third-party analytics. Like any web server, our host Vercel processes your IP address and the technical details of your visit (browser, page requested, time) to deliver the pages and protect the site, under its own privacy policy.

Audience measurement: we count visits ourselves, without cookies and without storing anything on your device. For each page view we keep the page, the website you came from (its name only), your country as Vercel reads it from your IP address, the kind of device (computer, tablet or phone) and a fingerprint of your IP address and browser that changes every day: each visitor counts once a day, and nobody can be followed from one day to the next. Neither your IP address nor your browser details are stored. These records are kept 13 months. If your browser sends a signal refusing tracking (Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track), the page is not counted at all.

The community prices and loot come from players who share them: auction house prices (item, lowest and market price, quantity, estimated sales per day, time, region, the realm the game reports, faction, game mode) and looted corpses (creature, kind of loot, time, level, zone and position, coins and items, creature names), with a random code of their installation. We keep that code only as an anonymous fingerprint (deleted 90 days after its last upload), the IP address only as a fingerprint that changes every day, the raw price scans for 3 days at most, the corpses for 31 days and the upload logs for 30 days. No name of character or account is ever sent.

The leveling guide also uses the quests players share: quest number and title, what happened (taken, objective progressed, handed in, abandoned) with the objective text, time, zone and position, NPC, quest level, XP and money earned, quest offered next and, when a quest is taken, the character's faction, race, class and level, with the same code. These records go straight into anonymous totals; the trace kept to drop duplicates (code fingerprint, quest and kind of record) is deleted after 31 days.

Community data is stored with Supabase, in the United States, and the site is hosted by Vercel, in the United States.

Your rights: you can ask to access, correct or erase your data, or object to its processing, by writing to contact@forevermastery.com. Since we keep no names and only anonymous fingerprints, we often cannot link any data to a person. If you live in the European Union, you can also contact your country's data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).

Cookies and third-party services

The only cookie is NEXT_LOCALE: it remembers your language when you switch, nothing else. No advertising cookie and no tracking cookie (our audience measurement uses none), so no banner to accept.

Only one piece of content comes from another site: the talent calculator icons, shown from Blizzard's image server (render.worldofwarcraft.com), which therefore receives your IP address when you open the calculator. Fonts, images and videos are served by our site.
