How to read this table
- Thresholds
- A recipe turns yellow at its yellow threshold, green at the green one and grey (no more points) at the grey one: yellow and grey come from the game tables, green is halfway, as in Classic. Before yellow it is orange (a point every craft) from the skill it is learned at, known only for recipe items and recipes given with the profession.
- Cost per point
- The material cost divided by the chance of a skill point, with the Classic rule: 100% while orange, then (grey − skill) / (grey − yellow). An estimate, to be confirmed on Forever.
- Materials
- The cheapest known price of each material: at a vendor (price seen in game) or at the auction house (market price), the same price as on the item's page. Without a known price for one material, the recipe has no cost. An isolated listing (far above what a vendor pays or the item's recent average) never counts.
- AH resale
- The market price of the crafted item, times the quantity, minus the 5% auction house cut.
- Margin
- The AH resale minus the material cost, for one craft: green, you earn; red, you lose. Without a resale price or a material price, no margin.
- Sales per day
- How many of the crafted item leave the auction house per day, an estimate that also counts expired auctions (so a maximum). Never shown for beta prices: on a test realm, stock that disappears is not sales.
- Recipe item
- The recipe is learned from an item (pattern, formula, plans...); the number is the skill it requires. The others are learned from a trainer, at a skill the game tables don't give.
