Fermenter is an Alchemy recipe new in the WoW Forever beta files (build 1.60.1.70532): Classic Era has no such recipe. With the beta auction house prices of October 15, 2026 (1 player, test realm ClassicBetaPvE2, Alliance), its materials cost 11s 28c and Fermenter resells for 9s 48c at the auction house after the 5% cut: a loss of 1s 80c per craft. It turns yellow at 140, green at 143 and grey at 145. It can be learned at 140.

When does it give skill points?
- Orange 140 to 139: a point on every craft
- Yellow 140 to 142: a point most of the time
- Green 143 to 144: a point now and then
- Grey from 145: no more points
Classic rule: 100% while orange, then the chance falls evenly to 0 at grey. Green sits halfway between yellow and grey, as in Classic.
Average cost of a point: 11s 28c while orange, 28s 20c at the green threshold.
