Anvil is a Blacksmithing recipe new in the WoW Forever beta files (build 1.60.1.70532): Classic Era has no such recipe. With the beta auction house prices of October 15, 2026 (1 player, test realm ClassicBetaPvE2, Alliance), its materials cost 30s 71c and Anvil resells for 85s 50c at the auction house after the 5% cut: 54s 79c of profit per craft. It turns yellow at 140, green at 143 and grey at 145. It can be learned at 140.

When does it give skill points?
- Orange 140 to 139: a point on every craft
- Yellow 140 to 142: a point most of the time
- Green 143 to 144: a point now and then
- Grey from 145: no more points
Classic rule: 100% while orange, then the chance falls evenly to 0 at grey. Green sits halfway between yellow and grey, as in Classic.
Average cost of a point: 30s 71c while orange, 76s 78c at the green threshold.
