What it earns
−
Loss per craft
- Material cost
- AH resale (after 5%)
- Market price per unit
- Sold to a vendor
A vendor pays more than the auction house.
Source: the beta auction house prices of October 15, 2026 (1 player, test realm ClassicBetaPvE2, Alliance), the same prices as the item pages. An isolated listing (far above what a vendor pays or the item's recent average) never counts.

When does it give skill points?
- Orange 25 to 29: a point on every craft
- Yellow 30 to 37: a point most of the time
- Green 38 to 44: a point now and then
- Grey from 45: no more points
Classic rule: 100% while orange, then the chance falls evenly to 0 at grey. Green sits halfway between yellow and grey, as in Classic.
Average cost of a point: 3s 40c while orange, 7s 29c at the green threshold.
