Sandpaper recipe in WoW Forever
Sandpaper is an Engineering recipe new in the WoW Forever beta files (build 1.60.1.70532): Classic Era has no such recipe. With the beta auction house prices of October 15, 2026 (1 player, test realm ClassicBetaPvE2, Alliance), its materials cost 14s 60c and Sandpaper resells for 52s 25c at the auction house after the 5% cut: 37s 65c of profit per craft. It turns yellow at 130, green at 143 and grey at 155. The game tables do not say where it is learned.
What it earns
+
Profit per craft
- Material cost
- AH resale (after 5%)
- Market price per unit
- Sold to a vendor
Source: the beta auction house prices of October 15, 2026 (1 player, test realm ClassicBetaPvE2, Alliance), the same prices as the item pages. An isolated listing (far above what a vendor pays or the item's recent average) never counts.

When does it give skill points?
- Orange up to 129: a point on every craft (start not in the game tables)
- Yellow 130 to 142: a point most of the time
- Green 143 to 154: a point now and then
- Grey from 155: no more points
Classic rule: 100% while orange, then the chance falls evenly to 0 at grey. Green sits halfway between yellow and grey, as in Classic.
Average cost of a point: 14s 60c while orange, 30s 42c at the green threshold.
