What changes for the paladin in WoW Forever?
The paladin in WoW Forever no longer loses its seal when it uses Judgment, learns Holy Strike at level 6, Seal of Fury at 10 and Consecration at 20, and Lay on Hands drops to a 20-minute cooldown. Blizzard's paladin deep dive of October 15, 2026, the last class article, also names the new talents, such as Holy Shock at 21 points and Twist of Light at 31.
- Seals are no longer consumed by Judgment.
- Holy Strike is learned at level 6 by every spec: an instant Holy weapon strike on a 12-second cooldown, 10 seconds for Holy on the beta, where Improved Holy Strike became baseline (September 24 notes).
- Seal of Fury is learned at level 10: a tank seal that favors fast weapons and grants small absorbs; while it is active, Judgment taunts from 10 yards, and on the beta the mana it restores no longer generates threat (October 8 notes).
- Consecration is baseline at level 20, with high damage and threat on the first 4 targets, and Lay on Hands has a 20-minute cooldown instead of 1 hour.
- Holy talents: Holy Shock on a 10-second cooldown, Infusion of Light, Voice of Truth (Silence and interrupt immunity) and Light's Vigil, which resets Holy Shock.
- Protection talents: Templar's Bulwark gives an absorb based on maximum health, Swift Judgment resets Judgment once per minute, and Iron Creed makes well-timed Holy Strikes reduce damage taken.
- Retribution talents: Twist of Light supports seal twisting without a swing-timer addon, Sacred Arbiter empowers Holy Strike, and Champion of the Light turns Intellect into spell damage.
- Undead paladins are new: Undead is the only Horde race that can be a paladin, with its own story at Bandarion Keep in the Whispering Wood.
- Limits kept: the paladin still has no interrupt and stays strong against Undead and Demons.
