How do you get the druid snake form in WoW Forever?

To get the snake form in WoW Forever, a druid equips all five pieces of the reworked Embrace of the Viper set from Wailing Caverns: Cat Form then turns into a snake, Method found on the beta on October 5, 2026. Taking off any piece brings the cat back. Cat Form is learned at level 20 in the game files, and each druid race gets its own snake color.

1. Learn Cat Form: level 20 in the game files of build 1.60.1.70685 (druid abilities).
2. Run Wailing Caverns, in the Barrens, until the five pieces drop (table below).
3. Equip all five: Belt, Footpads, Gloves, Leggings and Armor of the Fang. The form changes as long as the five stay equipped.
4. Shift into Cat Form: you are a snake. Method notes that every druid race has its own snake color.

Where does each Embrace of the Viper piece drop in WoW Forever?

In WoW Forever, four Embrace of the Viper pieces drop from the four Fanglords of Wailing Caverns and the fifth from trash, according to Method: the Belt from Lady Anacondra, the Footpads from Lord Serpentis, the Leggings from Lord Cobrahn, the Armor from Lord Pythas and the Gloves from the Druid of the Fang. In Classic's data, the Gloves were the rarest drop, about 2% per kill.

Forever's client ships no item record of these five pieces, so their item pages show Classic Era's values, flagged as such: Method says the reworked pieces got higher stats on the beta. In Classic Era's data the Gloves bind when equipped and the four other pieces when picked up, so only the Gloves could reach the auction house; to confirm in game.

What are the Embrace of the Viper set bonuses in WoW Forever?

In WoW Forever's game files, the Embrace of the Viper set gives +10 Intellect with two pieces, +10 Attack Power with three, a heal of 100 health and 100 mana over 5 seconds when you take damage at or below 25% health with four (once every 5 minutes), and Dream Venom with five: melee attacks may stun the target for 1 second. Classic's set was a caster set.

The heal of the four-piece bonus is 20 health and 20 mana per second for 5 seconds in the files, and its 5-minute lockout is a debuff named Recently Embraced. The files give Dream Venom no cooldown of its own, and Method saw it stun several times in a row.

Is the WoW Forever snake form only cosmetic?

Yes, the WoW Forever snake form looks cosmetic: Method saw no new combat effect on the beta, and every druid ability still looks and sounds as it does in Cat Form.
