WoW Forever patch notes and hotfixes: every change since the beta, latest of November 2, 2026
Yuki Requiem23 min read
In short
The latest WoW Forever change is Blizzard's update of November 2, 2026, posted on November 3 at 03:20 UTC. It raises damage for every class and the health of higher-level creatures, removes and adds talents in seven of the nine classes, sets class training at 206 to 207 gold from 1 to 60, brings gamepad support to "a functional Beta state", stops bags from equipping themselves and speeds up respawns in starting zones for launch.
Key points
- November 2, 2026 (Blizzard, posted November 3): more damage for every class, more health for higher-level creatures, and talents removed or added in seven of the nine classes, from Lava Burst and Binding Heal out to Holy Binding and Death Mark in.
- Same notes: class training costs 206 to 207 gold from level 1 to 60, new spells no longer go on your action bars by themselves, bags no longer equip themselves, and gamepad support is in "a functional Beta state".
- Same notes: respawns are faster in low-level zones at launch, fastest in starting zones, and Blizzard will lower them once the launch rush settles.
- October 30, 2026, client 1.60.1.70707 (game files): mage Arcane Focus removed, Ice Lance on an 8-second cooldown, Frost Blast off the mage's spell list, Aspect of the Hawk and Trueshot Aura lowered, Revenge scaling with attack power.
- October 28, 2026, client 1.60.1.70685 (game files): mage Frost tree rebuilt without Piercing Ice, Resurrection Sickness 10 minutes instead of 1 (scaled by level again in client 1.60.1.70753), Champion of the Light 20 / 40 / 60%.
- November 2, 2026, client 1.60.1.70753 (game files): the racial changes at last, and the new druid, paladin and priest talents; the rogue, shaman and warrior talent changes are not in its files yet.
- October 26-27, 2026 (Blizzard): seven races changed, from Artisan's Precision for dwarves to Command back for orcs.
- October 27-28, 2026 (Blizzard): a ruleset bug for Oceanic players and an overly strict name check, with a fix announced "With the next realm restarts in each region".
- Blizzard posts no notes for client builds: what we list from the files is seen in the files, not announced by Blizzard.
What changed in WoW Forever since the end of the beta?
Since the WoW Forever beta closed on October 23, 2026, Blizzard has posted racial changes (October 26-27), two name fixes, its launch articles, the launch maintenance and, on November 2, a big update for every class, training, gamepad, bags and respawns. We compared four game clients, of October 21, 28 and 30 and November 2: the files moved the mage first, then carried the racials and part of Blizzard's new talents.

November 2, 2026: what changed for each class in Blizzard's latest notes?
Blizzard's WoW Forever notes "Updated November 2", posted by Kaivax on November 3, 2026 at 03:20 UTC, raise damage for every class and the health of higher-level creatures to match. They remove Lava Burst, Salvation, Binding Heal, Berserk and Murder, add talents such as Holy Binding, Oath of Light and Death Mark, give rogues Shank and raise tank threat now that Salvation is gone.
Why, in the developers' notes: holding each class to Classic power budgets meant "every new element we added needed to come at the expense of something else", so "we've raised damage on classes across the game, and have increased the health of higher level creatures to compensate." Apart from bugs and "serious outliers", Blizzard plans no "big tuning changes between now and the opening of the raids next month", on December 9, then "a large tuning pass" once players level past 30.
| Class | Main changes |
|---|---|
| Druid | Bear and Dire Bear Form threat bonus 115% (was 50%); Lacerate becomes a Feral talent; Berserk removed, Primal Bite and Shifting Power become the two 31-point Feral talents; Bloom replaces Gift of the Earthmother; Wild Growth has a 3-second cast; Shred 200%, Claw 140% and Ravage 435% weapon damage, Rip, Rake, Ferocious Bite and Pounce about 25% stronger, Starfire about 40%; new passive Poised at level 32 |
| Hunter | Aimed Shot bonus damage up about 110%, Arcane Shot about 30%, Serpent Sting about 20%; Aspect of the Hawk 20 / 35 / 50 / 70 / 90 / 110 ranged attack power and Trueshot Aura 20 / 35 / 50 / 75 / 100; all traps share one 30-second cooldown; Sniper Shot bonus damage +100%; Hunter's Mark no longer stacks from different ranks |
| Mage | Frost Blast and Piercing Ice removed; Arcane Focus folded into Precision, 2 / 4 / 6% hit with all spells; Ice Lance on an 8-second cooldown shared with Fire Blast, 300% bonus against frozen targets; Ice Barrier adds 15% Frost damage for 1 minute, plus 5% while it holds; each Arcane Blast stack raises its Mana cost by 100% (was 175%); Incineration 5 points for 10% crit, Critical Mass back to 3 points |
| Paladin | Salvation, Mass Salvation, Revoke and Blessing of Light removed; Righteous Fury at level 10 (was 16), with 33% more threat from everything and an extra 90% from Holy damage; Holy: new Oath of Light and Boundless Light, Voice of Truth removed; Protection: new Shieldsworn on row 7 and Stoicism, Holy Shield to row 5, Templar's Bulwark to row 3; Retribution: Unsealed Wrath replaces Twist of Light as the 31-point talent, new Turn Evil |
| Priest | Binding Heal removed, replaced by Holy Binding (half of a Flash Heal on someone else heals you too, with no threat); Shadow Word: Death costs 30% of your maximum health when it fails to kill (was 10%), nothing on a miss; Vampiric Embrace healing can no longer crit |
| Rogue | New ability Shank at level 24 (off-hand strike that generates 15 Energy, rank 2 at 44) and passive Poised at 18; Murder, Thousand Cuts, Quietus, Cutthroat and Improved Distract removed; Death Mark, new 31-point Subtlety talent; Deadly and Instant Poison attack power scaling doubled; Mutilate 90% weapon damage, moved to row 7 |
| Shaman | Lava Burst removed, replaced by Call of Thunder (+5% crit to Lightning Bolt and Chain Lightning); Elemental Mastery renamed Lightning Mastery; Lightning Bolt base damage up (top rank +80%), Chain Lightning 2.5-second cast; shocks back to Classic Era damage; Lightning Overload 10 / 20 / 30%; Stormstrike 150% weapon damage on a 6-second cooldown; Riptide heals over time only, 12-second cooldown, about 40% less Mana; Totemic Projection renamed Totemic Call |
| Warlock | Wrack's spell damage coefficient doubled (86 base damage per second at level 60, was 36); Shadow and Flame 4 to 20% (was 2 to 10%); pets get 2 health per point of your Stamina (was 7.5); Spellstones raise only Shadow damage; Drain Soul gives far fewer Soul Shards when it does not kill |
| Warrior | Defensive Stance threat bonus 80% (was 30%); Defiance 7 / 13 / 20%; Slam cooldown 15 seconds (was 18); Fury: new Reckless Swings and Improved Whirlwind, Flurry 3 points of 10 / 20 / 30%, Bloodthirst requires Death Wish; Arms: Two-Handed Weapon Specialization 2 / 4 / 6%, Bloodthrill 2 points of 10 / 20% |
Several of these lines were already in the game files of clients 1.60.1.70685 and 1.60.1.70707 (Piercing Ice and Arcane Focus removed, Ice Lance's cooldown, Frost Blast off the spell list, Righteous Fury at level 10): Blizzard now confirms them. Aspect of the Hawk and Trueshot Aura, lowered in the files of October 30, get values above those. Our talent calculator follows the files of client 1.60.1.70753, which hold the new druid, paladin and priest trees but not yet the rogue, shaman and warrior changes (below); each class's changes are in our talents guide.
November 2, 2026: what else changed (training, action bars, bags, gamepad, respawns)?
The same WoW Forever notes of November 2, 2026 set class training at 206 to 207 gold from level 1 to 60 for every class, stop new spells from going on your action bars by themselves and stop bags from equipping themselves. Gamepad support reaches "a functional Beta state", and respawns are faster in low-level zones at launch, fastest in starting zones, before Blizzard lowers them.
- Training (Blizzard; prices are server data, not in the client): costs adjusted for all classes; most abilities learned at the same level cost the same, except the priest's race-specific spells; training class abilities from 1 to 60 costs "between 206 and 207 gold for all classes", warlock costs being lower by the expected price of their pets' Grimoires.
- Action bars: "Learning new spells will no longer cause them to be automatically added to your action bars": drag each new spell from your spellbook.
- Low ranks: talents no longer trigger less often from low-rank spells, except with the mage's Blizzard, which still triggers Arcane Concentration, Frostbite and Fingers of Frost less when cast with a rank learned more than 12 levels below yours. Our downranking guide explains the other rules.
- Combat fixes: roots from procs (Frostbite, Entrapment, Improved Wing Clip, Counterattack, Improved Hamstring) now have diminishing returns; Throw uses its 0.5-second windup; every race gets its correct base stats, for example tauren warriors +5 Strength over human warriors (was +2), High Order and Windshaper Skyborne included.
- Races: the October 26-27 changes are repeated "for completeness" (see below), plus two undead fixes: Cannibalize can again be used while immune to Physical damage, and Touch of the Grave triggers as often as it should.
- Bags: "Bags will no longer automatically equip into available bag slots and must now be manually equipped by the player." See our bags guide.
- Gamepad: "Gamepad Support has entered a functional Beta state" (Blizzard's wording in the edited notes, read on November 4, 2026; "a complete functional state" on November 3): movement, spells, interactions and menus all work with a controller, set up in Edit Mode and the Options; new are the Focus target (LB + RB + Face Down), leaving a flight path early, the Pet Move command, skipping cinematics and the ruleset selection screens. See our system requirements guide.
- Respawns: rates adjusted "for many different areas", faster in lower-level zones, fastest in starting zones and slower as you level; once the launch surge of low-level characters settles, Blizzard will lower them "to more typical rates". "Some contention for spawns is expected and part of the experience."
- Quests: XP adjusted on various quests; Ruins of Lordaeron dungeon quests all start at level 15 (was 15 or 16); "Holy Diver" in Darkshore now gives XP; Gloomrise Hatchlings in Mulgore give less XP; fewer spiders in The Cleft for "Twisted Hatred" (Teldrassil); objective tooltips and map markers added; some satyrs are now demons; fixes for "Counterattack!" in the Barrens, "Carnage" and "Destruction in Deadmines" in the Wetlands, "Hidden Enemies" in Orgrimmar and the Dalaran Summoners of the Alterac Mountains.
- PvP: in Darkspear Islands, dropping the flag no longer puts the "Recently Dropped Flag" debuff on you.
November 2, 2026: what is in WoW Forever client 1.60.1.70753?
WoW Forever's client 1.60.1.70753, listed by wago.tools on November 2, 2026 at 21:35 UTC, a few hours before Blizzard's notes, carries part of them: at last the racial changes of October 26-27, and the new druid, paladin and priest talents, such as Holy Binding, Oath of Light, Shieldsworn, Unsealed Wrath and Bloom. Its rogue, shaman and warrior trees still hold their old talents.
- Racials (game files): Artisan's Precision, Command, Ruthless 1%, The Human Spirit 10%, Wind Blessed 2%, Plainsrunning up to 60%, Endurance 5% health only, Berserking 15 seconds, Blood Fury 2 minutes, Touch of the Grave on a 15-second internal cooldown, and Read Leyline 50% for 15 seconds with Attuned. Skysight gives 15% for 30 seconds there, mounted speed included, where Blizzard's notes say 15 seconds. Not in the notes: Read Leyline casts in 0.5 seconds (2 before), Cultivation gets a 15-minute cooldown, and Find Treasure, for dwarves, also sometimes increases the treasure found.
- Talents in the files: druid (Lacerate and Predatory Discipline on row 4, Primal Bite and Shifting Power on row 7, Bloom; Berserk and Gift of the Earthmother gone), paladin (Oath of Light, Boundless Light, Stoicism, Shieldsworn, Turn Evil, and Unsealed Wrath, which reuses Twist of Light's spell; Voice of Truth and Improved Seal of Fury gone), priest (Holy Binding instead of Binding Heal), and Poised for rogues at level 18 and druids at 32. Salvation, Mass Salvation, Revoke and Blessing of Light are gone, and Righteous Fury has its new threat.
- Hunter (Blizzard's hotfixes to the game data, November 3): Trueshot Aura 20 / 35 / 50 / 75 / 100 as announced; Aspect of the Hawk 50 / 70 / 90 / 110 at ranks 3 to 6, but ranks 1 and 2 still give 15 / 22 where Blizzard says 20 / 35; Aimed Shot, Sniper Shot, Barrage and Lightning Reflexes raised, Arcane Shot only at ranks 3 and 4, Serpent Sting only at ranks 1 and 9; all traps share one 30-second cooldown.
- Not in the files yet, even with Blizzard's hotfixes as of November 3: the whole shaman list (Lava Burst still a talent, no Call of Thunder, Elemental Mastery and Totemic Projection not renamed, Lightning Overload still 3 / 7 / 10%, Mental Dexterity 33 / 67 / 100%, Stormstrike still 8 seconds, Riptide still 6 seconds with its direct heal, Chain Lightning still a 2-second cast), the whole warrior list (Defensive Stance still 30%, Slam still 18 seconds, Defiance still 15%, no Reckless Swings or Improved Whirlwind), and every rogue change but Poised (no Shank, Murder and Thousand Cuts still there, Death Mark only as spells, not as a talent). Class values not there either: druid Shred 155%, Claw 110% and Ravage 350% weapon damage, Rip, Rake, Ferocious Bite, Pounce and Starfire unchanged, and Rend and Tear 2 to 10%; paladin Vengeance 3 stacks and Two-Handed Weapon Specialization on Physical damage only; warlock Shadow and Flame 2 to 10% and Wrack unchanged. Hunter: Aspect of the Hawk ranks 1 and 2, and the other ranks of Arcane Shot and Serpent Sting, keep their old values.
- Not readable in the client (server side): class training prices, Bear Form's 115% threat, warlock pet health per point of Stamina, poison attack power coefficients, Templar's Bulwark being dispellable and some bug fixes. The client can't confirm or deny them.
- In the files, not in the notes: Resurrection Sickness becomes 1 minute plus 1 minute per level, up to 10 minutes (so 10 minutes from level 9) (a flat 10 minutes since client 70685), and the beta challenge Played in the WoW: Forever Beta, worth 16 Legacy points, is gone from the achievement table.
- Our data: the talent calculator, the class abilities and the race pages follow this client, so they show what its files hold.
October 30, 2026: what changed in WoW Forever client 1.60.1.70707?
WoW Forever's client 1.60.1.70707, listed by wago.tools on October 30, 2026 at 03:20 UTC, changes the mage again: Arcane Focus is gone, Ice Lance gets an 8-second cooldown and Frost Blast leaves the mage's spell list. Hunters see lower Aspect of the Hawk and Trueshot Aura ranks, Revenge scales with attack power, and the Adventurer's Tent is cosmetic again. Blizzard announced none of it.
- Mage talents (game files): Arcane Focus removed, 53 mage talents instead of 54; Precision gives 6% hit with all spells (was Fire and Frost); Incineration has 5 ranks for 10% crit (was 3 ranks, 6%); Critical Mass 3 ranks for 6%, Classic's values; Improved Fire Blast moves to the third row and asks for 10 Fire points; Accelerant also speeds up Arcane Wrath. See the mage talent calculator.
- Mage spells (game files): Ice Lance has an 8-second cooldown; Frost Blast's three ranks leave the mage's Frost spell list, while the spell still exists and talents still name it. See the mage abilities.
- Hunter (game files): Aspect of the Hawk ranks 1 to 5 give 15 / 22 / 30 / 38 / 47 ranged attack power (was 20 / 35 / 50 / 70 / 90); Trueshot Aura ranks 1 to 3 give 15 / 22 / 40 (was 30 / 40 / 75). See the hunter abilities.
- Warrior and paladin (game files): Revenge's damage adds a share of your attack power; Righteous Fury is learned at level 10 (was 16). See the warrior abilities.
- Orc (game files): Blood Fury's cooldown is 2 minutes (was 3), the only one of Blizzard's October 26-27 racial changes that the files carry.
- Items (game files): the Adventurer's Tent is back to a cosmetic tent for 15 minutes, after giving rested experience in 70685 (see our camping guide); Elixir of Wisdom gives +3 Intellect for 30 minutes (was +6 for 1 hour); the Ultralight Goblin Glider has a 5-minute cooldown (was 3); 16 Watcher's Signets are renamed; items with +1% hit chance now count it for spells too.
- Client texts (game files): the PvP ruleset message shown when restoring a character ("... You can't restore this character at this time."), added on October 28, is gone, back in client 1.60.1.70753; the one shown at character creation, "You cannot have both a Horde and an Alliance character on the same PvP ruleset", stays.
- Data only: dozens of spells of a zombie event ("You're a Zombie!", Infect!, Cure Infection) and a faction "Scourge Invaders" are in the files. Blizzard has announced no such event, so we do not present it as coming content.
October 28, 2026: what changed in WoW Forever client 1.60.1.70685?
WoW Forever's client 1.60.1.70685, listed by wago.tools on October 28, 2026 at 22:57 UTC, rebuilds the mage's Frost tree without Piercing Ice, makes Ice Barrier and Frost Ward grow with Frost spell power and raises Resurrection Sickness from 1 to 10 minutes, Classic's value. It follows 1.60.1.70532, the beta's last build, and three Forever-only builds of October 27-28 that we did not compare. Blizzard posted no notes for it.
- Mage (game files): Piercing Ice removed and the Frost tree reordered; Frost Warding makes Frost Ward negate the spell instead of reflecting it, and adds 10 / 20% to what Ice Barrier and Frost Ward absorb; Winter's Chill reworked around Frostbolt, Frost Blast and Ice Lance; Elemental Precision 3 ranks of 2% (was 5 of 1%); Arcane Wrath asks for 15 Arcane points and gets a 6-second cooldown; Frost Blast takes 21% less from spell power.
- Ice Barrier and Frost Ward (game files): their absorb adds 10% of your Frost spell power, and Ice Barrier gives Frigid Power, +3% Frost damage for 1 minute.
- Other classes (game files): Champion of the Light, paladin, 20 / 40 / 60% of Intellect as spell damage (was 10 / 20 / 30%), as in Blizzard's beta notes; Hunter's Mark rank 4 +143 ranged attack power (was +71); Holy Fire rank 1 48 to 60 damage (was 51 to 65); Amplify Curse back to Classic's 20% on Curse of Exhaustion.
- Resurrection Sickness (game files): 10 minutes, up from 1 minute, the duration Classic had. Client 1.60.1.70753 of November 2 changes it again: 1 minute plus 1 minute per level, up to 10 minutes (so 10 minutes from level 9).
- Items (game files): the Adventurer's Tent became a rested experience tent for a party near a campfire, which client 70707 undid; three items dropped from rare to uncommon; Formula: Enchant Weapon - Insight now reads +100% Spirit.
- Client texts (game files): the Classic and Enhanced preset labels, explained in our preset guide, and the PvP ruleset message for restored characters, removed two days later and back on November 2.
- French client: Hurlevent everywhere, Prison de Hurlevent included, and 22 talents now in French.
October 27-28, 2026: what did Blizzard fix for character names?
Blizzard posted two name reservation fixes for WoW Forever. On October 27, 2026 at 20:02 UTC, Kaivax told Oceanic players on Australian servers to create Roleplay or Roleplay-PvP characters before Normal or PvP ones, a bug Blizzard was fixing "urgently". On October 28 at 01:28 UTC, he called the name check "overly restrictive", for example on names containing "c-o-n", with a fix promised at the next realm restarts.
- Oceanic bug (Blizzard, October 27, 2026): creating a Normal or PvP character first made Roleplay and Roleplay-PvP unavailable for the next ones; only Oceanic players on Australian servers were affected.
- Restricted names (Blizzard, October 28, 2026): after the fix, a name refused with "That name is restricted" can be tried again.
- Follow-up: as of October 31, 2026, Blizzard had posted no message confirming that either fix was live.
- Name reservation ended on November 3: see our name reservation guide.
October 26-27, 2026: which racials did Blizzard change before launch?
On October 26-27, 2026, Blizzard's last racial pass before launch changed seven of the nine races: humans, dwarves, tauren, orcs, trolls, undead and Skyborne. Dwarves trade Earth Fury for Artisan's Precision, +1% hit; orcs lose Savage and get Command back; tauren Plainsrunning reaches 60% but no longer works mounted. Weapon specialization racials stay gone, and night elves and gnomes do not change.
| Race | Change |
|---|---|
| Human | Ruthless 1% crit (was 2%); The Human Spirit +10% Spirit (was 5%) |
| Dwarf | Earth Fury removed; Artisan's Precision added: +1% hit chance with spells and attacks |
| Tauren | Plainsrunning 2% speed per stack up to 60% (was 1% and 30%), no longer while mounted; Endurance only +5% health |
| Orc | Savage removed; Command back: +5% hunter and warlock pet damage; Blood Fury 2-minute cooldown (was 3) |
| Troll | Berserking lasts 15 seconds (was 10) |
| Undead | Touch of the Grave internal cooldown 15 seconds (was 25) |
| Skyborne | Wind Blessed 2% Haste (was 3%); Read Leyline +50% regeneration for 15 seconds, 100% while Attuned (1 hour, gained by using it at a leyline); Skysight +15% speed for 15 seconds, 30% while Charged (1 hour, gained by using it at an elemental convergence) |
Blizzard's reason, in Kaivax's post of October 26, 2026: "we've prioritized racial identity, which means that some races will naturally be slightly more effective than others at certain combat roles", while weapon specializations stay out so that loot is not judged through "required" weapon types. In the game files of build 1.60.1.70707, only Blood Fury's cooldown had changed; build 1.60.1.70753 of November 2 carries the other values, except Skysight, which lasts 30 seconds there and also raises mounted speed. Blizzard's notes of November 2 repeat these changes "for completeness". Our race pages show the files' values, for example the orc and the dwarf.
October 21, 2026: what was new in WoW Forever client 1.60.1.70532?
WoW Forever's client 1.60.1.70532, listed by wago.tools on October 21, 2026, only added rows to the game tables: three mounts with a required level of 60 and a 200 gold price field (Verdant Sea Turtle, Crimson Rooster, Spectral Wolf Pack), three companion pets, a 15-minute cosmetic Adventurer's Tent and cosmetic outfits. No talent, ability, racial or dungeon changed, and the files do not say where the new items come from.
The cosmetic items include Ensemble: Gilded Blademaster's Armor and Ensemble: Stillwater Fisher Attire, which teach a set's appearances: see our transmog guide. Our mounts guide lists the mounts found in the files. This was the last build shared by the beta and Forever: the beta closed on October 23, 2026 at 10 a.m. PDT.
October 15, 2026: what was in the last WoW Forever beta notes?
Blizzard's last WoW Forever beta notes, dated October 15 and posted October 16, 2026 at 00:15 UTC, reworked most racials, brought Elemental Mastery back as the Elemental shaman's 31-point talent, made several class buffs raid-wide and made wands and Auto Shot need half a second standing still, "matching early versions of World of Warcraft". The beta closed a week later, on October 23.
Those notes also added Frost Blast for mages at level 24, the spell that client 1.60.1.70707 later took off the mage's spell list, and made the Horde "attacked on sight" in the open-world city of Dalaran. Every beta change log, week by week, is in our beta notes guide.
Where does Blizzard post WoW Forever patch notes and hotfixes?

Frequently asked questions
Are there official WoW Forever patch notes?
Yes, on Blizzard's forums, in one thread by Kaivax. The latest, "Updated November 2", posted on November 3, 2026, covers every class, training costs, gamepad, bags, respawns and quests. Blizzard posted no notes for the client builds of October 28 and 30: what they alone changed is only in the game files.

Blizzard raised damage for every class and the health of higher-level creatures, removed and added talents in seven of the nine classes, set class training at 206 to 207 gold from level 1 to 60, stopped new spells from going on action bars and bags from equipping themselves, brought gamepad support to a functional Beta state and sped up respawns in starting zones for launch.
How much does class training cost in WoW Forever?
Between 206 and 207 gold for all class abilities from level 1 to 60, whatever the class, according to Blizzard's notes of November 2, 2026. Most abilities learned at the same level cost the same, and warlock costs are lower by the expected price of their pets' Grimoires.
Why are new spells not on my action bars in WoW Forever?
Since Blizzard's notes of November 2, 2026, learning a new spell no longer adds it to your action bars by itself. Open your spellbook and drag each new spell to a bar.
Where does Blizzard post WoW Forever patch notes and hotfixes?
On its forums, in one thread kept by community manager Kaivax on the US forums and copied on the European ones, plus separate blue posts for issues such as names. Bigger news goes on the World of Warcraft site, and maintenance in Blizzard Support's Weekly Maintenance Schedule.
What changed in the latest WoW Forever client?
The latest is client 1.60.1.70755, listed on November 3, 2026: the game tables we compared are the same as in client 1.60.1.70753 of November 2, which carries Blizzard's racial changes and the new druid, paladin and priest talents of its November 2 notes, such as Holy Binding, Oath of Light and Bloom; the rogue, shaman and warrior changes are not in its files yet. Client 1.60.1.70707 of October 30 reworked the mage.
Did Blizzard announce the mage changes of late October?
Yes, on November 2, 2026. The game files of October 28 and 30 had already removed Piercing Ice and Arcane Focus and given Ice Lance an 8-second cooldown; Blizzard's notes of November 2 confirm them, share that cooldown with Fire Blast and remove Frost Blast.
How long is Resurrection Sickness in WoW Forever?
In the game files of client 1.60.1.70753 of November 2, 2026, 1 minute plus 1 minute per level, up to 10 minutes (so 10 minutes from level 9). Client 1.60.1.70685 of October 28 had made it a flat 10 minutes, after 1 minute before. Blizzard announced none of these changes.
Does the Adventurer's Tent give rested XP in WoW Forever?
Not in the files of client 1.60.1.70707 of October 30, 2026: it is a cosmetic tent for 15 minutes again, after giving a party rested experience near a campfire in client 1.60.1.70685. Blizzard announced neither change, so this comes from the game files only.
Which racials changed before the WoW Forever launch?
Those of seven of the nine races, on October 26-27, 2026: humans, dwarves, tauren, orcs, trolls, undead and Skyborne. Dwarves get Artisan's Precision, orcs get Command back, and the Skyborne racials become 15-second effects with hour-long buffs.
Will WoW Forever have patch notes after launch?
Blizzard had not said how it will post them as of November 3, 2026; its notes of November 2 went up in the beta development notes thread. This page adds each note Blizzard posts and each new game client, newest first, with its date and source.
