WoW Forever world map

This WoW Forever map places the 44 zones of Kalimdor, the Eastern Kingdoms and Zephras Isle where the game client puts them (build 1.60.1.70753), each with its level range and a link to its leveling route. The four new regions are marked: Riverglades in the Eastern Kingdoms, Mount Hyjal and Shen'dralas in Kalimdor, and Zephras Isle, which has a map of its own.

Where is each zone on the WoW Forever map?

Every zone sits at its real place in the game world, from the world rectangles of the Forever client (build 1.60.1.70753). The color gives the level a zone starts at, the numbers its level range, and a dashed outline marks a new region. Click or tap a zone to open its leveling route and its own detailed map; on a keyboard, the Tab key goes from zone to zone.

Zephras Isle

Zephras Isle, levels 1 to 12, both factions

The client gives Zephras Isle a continent of its own (Map table, ID 2991), so no table places it on Kalimdor or the Eastern Kingdoms: it is drawn apart, with no position relative to them. It is the Skyborne starting zone, levels 1 to 12 for Blizzard, September 22, 2026. Method.gg, October 14, 2026 reports a boat from Valanaar at any level: to Dalaran for the Alliance, to Skywatcher Plateau for the Horde. More in our Zephras Isle guide.

Deadwind Pass and Moonglade are on the map but have no link: the client's group finder lists no level range for them and our leveling guide has no route there.

Which zones are new in WoW Forever?

WoW Forever adds four regions to Classic's world, according to Blizzard, October 29, 2026: Riverglades in the Eastern Kingdoms, Mount Hyjal and Shen'dralas in Kalimdor, and Zephras Isle, the Skyborne starting zone. On the map they have a dashed outline and an orange name. Blizzard, September 13, 2026 calls Riverglades a "previously inaccessible part of the Classic world", and its recap of September 12 places Shen'dralas between Mulgore and Desolace.

What level is each zone in WoW Forever?

Zones keep fixed level ranges in WoW Forever: there is no level scaling, according to Blizzard, September 12, 2026. This table lists the 44 zones by continent and level, with the range of the client's group finder (build 1.60.1.70753), the faction that levels there, its route and map, the dungeons placed in it and the rare creatures Classic had there. 7 zones start at level 1.

Is there a map of every zone in WoW Forever?

Yes. This page draws the 44 zones of Kalimdor, the Eastern Kingdoms and Zephras Isle from the Forever client's tables (build 1.60.1.70753), with each zone's level range and a link to its page. The shapes are our own drawing, not images of the game. Each zone's page has its detailed map, with flight points and places.

Which zones are new in WoW Forever?

Four regions, according to Blizzard: Riverglades in the Eastern Kingdoms, Mount Hyjal and Shen'dralas in Kalimdor, and Zephras Isle, the Skyborne starting zone, which has its own map.

Where is Riverglades on the map?

In the Eastern Kingdoms, east of Redridge Mountains. Blizzard says it borders the Burning Steppes, Redridge Mountains, the Swamp of Sorrows and the Badlands. The client's group finder lists it for levels 33-54; Blizzard speaks of the mid-30s to mid-40s.

Where is Mount Hyjal in WoW Forever?

In the north of Kalimdor: the client's tables put it between Felwood and Winterspring. The group finder lists it for levels 55-60, and Icy Veins says you reach it from Winterspring through Darkwhisper Gorge.

Where is Shen'dralas in WoW Forever?

In Kalimdor, between Mulgore and Desolace according to Blizzard, through the Valley of Bones south of Desolace. Neither Blizzard nor the client gives it a level range; the beta notes of October 8, 2026 set level 35 for Desolace's new Gelkis and Magram quests, which begin with a quest named Valley of Bones.

Where is Zephras Isle on the WoW Forever map?

On no continent: the client gives the isle its own map, so we draw it apart. It is the Skyborne starting zone, levels 1 to 12 according to Blizzard. Method.gg reports a boat from Valanaar at any level, to Dalaran for the Alliance and to Skywatcher Plateau, on the border of Mulgore and Desolace, for the Horde.

Which zones are for level 30 in WoW Forever?

The client's group finder lists 12 zones for level 30: The Barrens, Redridge Mountains, Stonetalon Mountains, Ashenvale, Duskwood, Hillsbrad Foothills, Wetlands, Thousand Needles, Alterac Mountains, Arathi Highlands, Desolace and Stranglethorn Vale.

Which zones go up to level 60 in WoW Forever?

The client's group finder takes 11 zones up to level 60: Azshara, Blasted Lands, Searing Gorge, Un'Goro Crater, Felwood, Burning Steppes, Western Plaguelands, Eastern Plaguelands, Silithus, Winterspring and Mount Hyjal.

Is this the map you see in the game?

No. These maps are our drawing from the client's data tables, without any image of the game, and their coasts and borders are schematic. Positions and level ranges are the client's. For the game's own places, open a zone's page: it lists its flight points, named places and Classic services.

How is this map made?

We place the land of each zone map by its world rectangle in the client's tables (UiMapAssignment, build 1.60.1.70753). That land is our own drawing from the areas the client reveals on each zone map (WorldMapOverlay), so coasts and borders are schematic: where two zone maps overlap, a place goes to the zone it sits deepest in, and a thin gap goes to the nearest zone. No image of the game is used.

  • Levels: the client's group finder (GroupFinderActivity, build 1.60.1.70753), capped at level 60; Zephras Isle's 1 to 12 is Blizzard's.
  • Names: the client's map names (UiMap table), English and French.
  • Dungeons: the zone of our dungeon pages. Those inside a capital are listed under the zone around it, those of Blackrock Mountain under the two zones it opens on.
  • Rares: creatures of rank rare or rare elite outside dungeons in cMaNGOS classic-db (Classic DB version 1.12.1 "Melting Pot v2". For Classic core z2815.). This is Classic data, to confirm on Forever, and Forever's new zones have none.
  • Capitals: the center of their map in the client's tables.
